The increase in video conferencing and other technology due to COVID
There is an undeniable increase in the use of the video call and COVID has changed the way in which we collaborate. (Felder, 2020). Technology has always been the bringer of sudden change, but this has never been felt with the same level of intensity as we have felt it since early 2020.
Now that we are close to the end of 2021, we can expect 2022 to be even more inclined to the use of video conferencing technology. Remote work was implemented by many companies as a safety measure against COVID, but it turned out to be a very beneficial approach that is helping business owners save time and money.
This change has been so beneficial that even employee productivity has skyrocketed. It is evident that there are many benefits to this change, but regardless of how we feel about technology, it is essential to be able to adapt to the new era.
Video conferencing is just one of the many ways in which technology has become a predominant part of our lives. The following is a list of other important additions that we have seen in the last 24 months.
